South America

South America is a continent in the Western Hemisphere comprised of Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, and the Falkland Islands. The continent is racially and ethnically diverse, with European, African, and Indigenous influences. At the height of the colonial era, Spain and Portugal dominated the region leaving a lasting cultural, economic, and social legacy.  

From the beaches of Venezuela, to the Patagonia of Argentina, Andes Mountains of Peru and Chile, Environmental preserves of Ecuador, nature in South America is as stunning as its peoples.
