Vandy-in-Hollywood Summer Internship Program

About the Program

The Vandy-in-Hollywood Summer Internship Program (ViHSIP) is a joint production of the Center for Student Professional Development and Vandy-in-Hollywood, an alumni affinity group. This unique program provides in-the-trenches knowledge to supplement the Vanderbilt academic experience.

Since the inception of the ViHSIP in 2006, it has become a leading university program in the entertainment industry, with approximately 15-20 students interning each summer at Hollywood's top networks, studios, agencies, distributors and production companies. This "summer in LA" experience also includes guest lecturers, pre-release film screenings, studio tours and many other special events presented by Vanderbilt alumni.

Previously, students participated in internships with the following employers:  Sarratt movie reel
