By now I know that all class members have successfully entered our forum. To do so now:

Known Technical Problems and Hints (E-mail me if you find others):

Remember that you need to click "Options" when you enter the program in order to gain access to all our forums. We have five now (10/8/98).
Often when you post, you'll wait for the server to be contacted, and then, having waited, drumming your fingers, you may get an error message saying that you've been "timed out." The trick here: It looks as if your message has not been posted, but in fact it has been. So simply use your mouse to click "back" and you'll be back to your editing window (and again, it will look as if your message has not been sent). Then you can simply click "cancel" to dispense with your message (or if you're the worrying type, you can copy it first using your mouse), before clicking on "refresh" and the thread you want to read. This problem seems almost to be gone now (10/8/98)
To make sure you haven't missed any new messages, click "new messages" when you enter the forum, and you'll get a list of new messages. Otherwise, a new reply tucked away somewhere might escape your attention, and given the quality of exchange so far, you probably want to read most of what appears.
