Women must take on the responsibility to aquire their own voice because if they do not, strong feminine roles will never be written. This is because if men fear losing their current power, what motivation would they have for writing in strong feminine roles? The failure of men to promote the advancement of women is not necessarilt because they seek to repress women, but rather they seek to hold themselves up and retain their current power. However in doing so, their actions result in the repression of women.

"A woman without a body, dumb, blind, can't possibly be a good fighter. She is reduced to being the servant of the militant male, his shadow. We must kill the false woman who is preventing the live one from breathing." This is the result of a passive disposition towards male repression, repression which causes women to lose their body and become dumb and blind. If women's voices and stories are to be heard, women must write them themselves.
